Here’s an interesting Windows shortcut I just learned:

If you type a domain name in the address field of a browser, say “CNN”, and 
then press “Enter” and “CTRL” at the same time, it will complete the URL making 
it “www.CNN.com”.

Nifty.

Works on Macs, too.  “Enter” and “⌘”.
