I used to work with a guy who was the same way.  Big guy, maybe 300 pounds but 
6’6”.  Deathly afraid of heights, wouldn’t even get on a stepladder.

We had a job to service a generator on top of a four story building in downtown 
Indianapolis one time.  The stairs came up in he middle of the building and the 
generator was right next to where the stairs came out.  I kept walking over to 
the edge of the roof and yelling at him, “Hey Don, you gotta see this - there’s 
some girl in the street flashing people!!!”

He wouldn’t go for it.
