I think that price is crack territory for all the stuff wrong with the car, and I'll bet that an inspection would find more.
Seepage from the trans pan - warped pan?. -The tires are good but nearly 10 years old -The inside has a bit of a musty smell. All seals seem good and there are no water leaks from the sunroof so I am assuming it is just age. -The front lower ball joints will need replacement. No noise but the boots are torn. - The turbo charger does not boost very well. We have removed the air cleaner and checked shaft play, it has no play at all. It does not burn oil. After having the local Mercedes dealership go over it they believe the boost bypass valve is stuck in the open position. - The wood grain on the passenger side is starting to come up. - Passenger rear power window does not work. - The odometer does not work, the tachometer does not work. All of the other gauges, speedometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure, coolant temp, and warning lights do work.
