So I took the SDL on a road trip today and made a quick stop. When I got back in the car and started it up, got back on the highway and set cruise everything was fine. With the cruise in when I turned on turn signal I noticed cruise would cut out for a quick second then kick back in. Just enough to cause a surge. I also have the low washer fluid light on and it would blink at the same time. Also, the acc seemed to cut out right when I hit the signal also. I tried turning the key back off slightly while driving and it didn’t help. I did it a couple more times and it got worse. It started cutting off and on constantly like the low light was blinking and the srs light started blinking. Cruise would surge off and on and acc would cut off and on. I decided to get off the road and locate a parts store in case something was up with the battery. I wanted to shut it off and restart it but wanted to be at a parts store in case the battery was dead or something. As I was getting off the highway and slowing down, as it was coming to idle the engine would buck. Like the idle control was cutting in and out or something. When I came to a complete stop everything returned to normal. As soon as I started moving again it starting doing the same thing. I got to a parts store and there also was a HF across the street. That was lucky in case I need to work on the car. I shut the car off and started it back up without issue. After the restart everything was back to normal with no issues. What is the common item here with all these systems? I’m think it’s got to be the ignition switch is getting flakey. I guess I will change it out when I get home.
