Tapped on the upper mounting ear of the alternator, forward then back then forward again, with the 32oz ball peen. Opened up enough room to pull it out of the bottom mount.
That was quick. I'll finish taking it out when it's lighter outside in the AM, but it looks like it is not a Bosch. Valeo?
