I need a few opinions about a newer car for my wife. She is going to cut back on her volunteer work and take a corporate attorney job. She likes her 87 300D, but it needs more work than it makes sense to do with AC, paint, and suspension. She says she would like a roadster and since I don't know of a diesel one I was considering an early 90's SL, maybe a 300 or a 500. She was also considering an audi TT. Does anyone care to offer some advice?
