"1993 Mercedes Benz 400 SEL...Last year of Hand built S class...the one most folks mistakenly say was bullet-proof ...Not intentional...it's triple pane glass standard...will stop 22 long rifle...no..I didn't test it...170K miles...Engine and running gear are excellent...cept..trans fluid drip...Body fair...interior.. front seats a 3...rear a 7...The brakes and brake hydraulics totally unusable till complete brake restoration....tires 70%....Starts, runs, shifts, drives..Will NOT STOP.....bring a trailer. Most all warning lights on in dash.....needs rear shocks...window motors,etc basically a parts car...with expensive parts... no hail.. Body good, except ground effects...
Have in hand service records from a major preventative mechanical/electrical restore @ 112K miles...$6200+ . $500....for the whole car...about the price of a used long block for this car.."
