First of all, take the car to someone reputable and make sure there is
no further damage. Sometimes the pros can see things that you miss.

I went to pick up my car at lunch today, which was parked right in front of
a Funeral Home on the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and a side street in
northwest DC. To my horror, the front bumper was knocked off that is, the
rubber strip was detached and the side rubber cover at the Left End of the

lawyer guy privately or should I go through my insurance company? The whole
thing could probably fixed for $100 but it is a hassle to go to my tech or
do it myself. Any creative ideas out there?
