When I did the sunroof seal on my 240D I used soapy water in a dish detergent bottle, worked a treat. -Curt Date: Wed, 22 Mar 2006 18:15:06 -0800 From: "Stuart Saxonberg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [MBZ] Door Seal Epiphany To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
Replacing front door seals on my 300D. Ripped out the old one, in pieces. Struggling with the new one, getting it into the groove is not easy (which is good, 'cause it'd be too easy to get out). Epiphany: Silicone Spray Lubricant. That is all. Stuart S. 1976 300D w115 --------------------------------- New Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC for low, low rates. I've owned 22 Mercedes manufactured between 1954 and 1987. 21 had=20 sunroofs. I've only had to service two of them and NEVER had one leak. Many Euro cars were never equipped with a sunroof, that cost extra.
