I ordered a replacement front left door seal for my W123 wagon from Autohaus AZ for about $40. There is a 1" chunk of rubber missing rear the front top corner of the gasket, which I imagine is the cause of soaked floor mats...
What would be the best way to patch this while I await delivery? Is there a gasket forming sealant I can use for a temporary patch? Or should I cut a piece of rubber to fit and glue that into place?
