The way it looks from the bottom, the CG of the bed seems to be just ahead of 
the back wheels which is about the same as a flatbed a local guy in the 1950s 
used in his local and adjacent states moving business. He tried to load the 
truck with the weight distributed the same way; centered just ahead of the back 
axle. He wouldn't let customers put the CG of the load any closer to the front 
axle because he said it would tear up the front end and could blow out the bias 
ply tires of that era if the truck was loaded heavy on the front axle.

There seems to be a longer bed or a long load that is on top of the regular bed 
of the truck. It might pay to ask the owner about that.
