Wha?
I thought short barrelled rifles were illegal, not ridiculously long barreled 
pistols.

My son's Ruger came with a warning that while the barrels of the Charger
and the 10/22 are interchangeable, and you can mount the short Charger
barrel on the 10/22, it is a federal offense to mount the longer 10/22
barrel on the Charger! Go figure …
