Back in the 1990s, a friend of mine in CT claimed that Martha walked into a gun store while he was there. She was looking for somebody to come to her neighborhood and shoot the deer who were eating her ornamental plantings and tearing up her landscaping. They had to clue her in on a few details, like game seasons, bag limits, and especially bans on shooting in residential areas.
