Good luck! From what I understand it is complicated and there is a real learning curve. I participate in a metal working forum that was initially about lathes and milling machine work etc but seems to have evolved into a forum about these printers. I don't have one and have no intention of acquiring one any time soon but I continue to read most of it.

Super cool. I've pondered this a few times.Thingverse is where you go for
pre-made plans to print stuff. I've been eyeing some miniature Atari stuff,
theres a 1050 disk drive that can hold an SD card reader that looks really cool.
Theres so much 3d printing stuff out there, I like Bob at I like to Make Stuff, he's got
several "Bits" videos that give basic info on all sorts of stuff, including 3d
printing:

I now have access to a Creality Ender-3 3D printer.  I know nothing about this thing but plan on learning.  Looks like it prints using a filament.

There were discussions recently in one of these groups about 3D printing and an
online repository of files for Mercedes parts.  Can someone forward that
information to me?

Also, if anyone here is doing any 3D printing, I would love to know where the
best resources are online.  I’ll be doing some googling, of course, but t would
be nice to have some direction from someone who has gone before me…

Thanks!
