That is one side of the problem. The other side is that everything made
in PRC has its design and specs stolen by the chinee goobermnt.
This means that EVERYTHING can be easily knocked off so easily and so
well that they may be unable to be identified as a knockoff.
So lemforder boxes with seals of authenticity can be fakes.

The problem is not only quality control.
A lot of things are made with stolen or pirated
technology/invention/intellectual property.
That is the crux of the current trade isses.
And no, that's not being political, and has everything to do with keeping old
Mercedes road worthy in coming decades.
