I’ve always been a sucker for the long wheelbase W126 cars, but the 420SEL leaves a bad taste in my mouth after the experience I had with the one I owned - the “Deathmobile”. Ever since then I swore I would never own another. A 560, maybe, but not a 420. Still would like to have one with the power rear seats.
