You still have air in there. If it has abs, be sure there is not a bleeder
screw on that pump somewhere. The MC is probably fine. Be sure any calipers
are on right side up; if the bleed screws are not on the top then the sides
are switched and it will never firm up. You should run quarts of brake
fluid through the lines and be sure to close the screws while fluid is
still coming out. Push the pedal while pressurizing the system to bleed the
MC also. Once the fluid is coming out clean you can just dump it back into
the pressure bleeder and run it through again.
