Ah, I should mention I've a weakness for NGK plugs at the moment.
Iridium ones if I can find them. Mind the 500SEL still has the original bosch ones in it since I've read mixed reports on putting platinum or iridium plugs in benzes were that was not the OEM choices. Likely I should consider replacing them all the next service the benz has.

Most evil plugs removed from power equipment in the past here was Champions, where idiot mower shop stuck extra cold heat range plug in mover which required a hot heat range plug. A year later the plug looked like it was used to stir black molasses. After that I did on the other hand convince my wife I was quite capable in doing all the yearly maintenance on the 1/2 dozen small motors running about. That and the champion stuck in the generator wouldn't let it idle without missing, but a replacement NGK worked just fine.

Get yourself a bottle of Seafom gas additive, change the oil to Mobil 1 and get a new NGK sparkplug.
