Manual transmission with a reconditioned diesel engine. Very Rusty
Body. Needs alternator and power steering belt to run. I purchased the
belt but wasn't able to reach/loosen the bolt to install it. The car
was used fairly regularly up until 9 months ago as surfing/boating car
around Tybee Island. I have the repair manual/records and even the
car's original first aid kit. The tires are still good but the car
will still probably need to be towed. In the past 5 years I've:
rebuilt the front suspension and steering system, put on a new
alternator and starter, put in a new slave cylinder, cleaned out the
gas tank, put in new fuel pump and filters, and also replaced exhaust
system. The body is pretty much done for, but it would make a great
parts car for any Mercedes W123 class (1976-85). $500 OBO.
