Almost done. White Whale is back together, new evaporator and re-used the vacuum pods from Wilton's 300D. Vacuumed the AC system, then charged with dry CO2 at 120 psi as a test.
I need more parts to finish: receiver / dryer, and foam tubes for the condensate drain from the heater box. Pick that stuff up tomorrow and finish the job. About 12 hours total over two days so far. Only one mystery part left over, a big washer. One "Oh s#*t!". I removed the left front speaker in order to get at some wires below it, and it popped out with enough force to crack the windshield. Windshield was already toast, a big rock strike left a divot that will surely start cracking with enough heat cycles.
