For Bob: I hope your cancer treatment goes well. It’s good that the cancer was detected in the early stages! About the disappearing W123 cars, It’s all the more reason for me to keep this 1982 W123 240D on the road!!! I’ve ridden in it two times with two different drivers since the original test drive, and it’s a wonderful machine! I get what people have said about older classic cars having a soul. After riding in the 2017 Honda Odyssey appliance and even the recently sold 2015 Beetle TDI Convertible (yes I really sold it), the W123 has a feeling and a presence that can’t be beat! I’m sure that the $110 monthly insurance savings “downgrading” from the Beetle TDI will contribute greatly to fixing it up and keeping it going! Kevin in hillsboro, OR 1982 240D 191Kmi, Hildegard!
