I was trolling for swag at the annual Mining convention last week. I got to chatting with the Alaska Railroad guy and said they should be really put a steam locomotive on their line. Turns out there is a plan to do just that. There is a group of volunteers doing the work and word is that it will be on the rails maybe next summer.
