The lights in my HVAC unit are out, which makes for confusion at night.
Apparently they are just small standard bulbs, so I need to pull that
out and get some new ones. Trouble is, I never remember to do it when
it is daylight, only after trying to adjust it at night!

set that inserts into those channels. There is a finger loop on your
side and the blade end tapers to a pointed end that will engage the
spring metal detents, releasing their hold on the radio. At that
point you can use the hooks to engage the face and pull the radio out

I thought the hooks were dual purpose; apparently not, though they will
work as parking brake spring pullers.
