I have never been to Nauvoo but i owned a house in upstate NY- Lansing to
be exact  which was,said that Brigham Young had worked on during the
building ca.1814. I spent a day in the Mormon archives in Provo Utah hoping
to establish that so I could market  the house, which we operated as a B&B
inn to a Mormon clientele but the best research i could find was done by a
local Mormon  scholar who documented  Young's earlyy career as a
carpenter's assistant. His,mother is buried in the local cemetery there
