You'll need the tire iron (factory tool) to get the belt loose, along with
a 13mm wrench or socket.  Have you ever loosened the serp belt on a 124?
It is different, but easy once you understand.

I think either a 10mm or 13mm socket to get the connections off the back.

You'll need a 17mm socket, maybe with a good long wrench or breaker bar, to
get the alternator mounts loose.
