We have Toyota Prius taxis around here now. They aren't slouches at the lights so far as I can see. My F150 is no hotrod but the Prius taxi certainly ran as fast as I did from a light the other night ( I was in the right lane and wanted to get ahead of him and move over another lane - I had to get in behind him and follow him until he turned off ) and he appeared to be fully loaded with people. I was surprised at how quick he was.
