One of the really engaging excursions I had while visiting Fairbanks last week was to drop in and spend hours in this very well curated museum.
https://www.fountainheadmuseum.com All the cars are American Iron with the only mention of Mercedes being that Packard or Pierce Arrow cars were meant to compete with the marque. The fashions displayed were as interesting as the cars themselves, so women folk could remain placated while guys drooled over the cars. There is an onsite shop with glass walls, for working on the collections and the docents are the guys who also spend time keeping the cars in running condition. VERY knowledgeable.
