For the first time in years I shot a roll of film a few weeks ago. While I was happy with the results, I was shocked when the processing (with no prints -- only scanning to digital files) came out to nearly $30 (including shipping).
Anyone do this and have any more affordable options? Or done their own C-41 processing? I have done a fair amount of black and white film work, but never color. I always thought it was much more exacting and complicated in terms of chemistry, temperatures, and timings.
