Hello List, I am wondering if there is a portable or a semi portable mileage computer available out there for diesel cars and or trucks!
I know of ones that are available for boats with diesel engines and I imagine the same could be available for automobiles. I'd rather not reinvent the wheel and build one from scratch (which would take forever to begin with)!! Your valued input would be highly appreciated. Omar. I would appreciate it if some of you can help me diagnose the following symptoms: 1- Braking is border line poor and that may and may not be related to my main complaint which is listed in item 2. 2- Upon applying the brakes, the steering wheel begins to oscillate in roughly a 10~15 degree arc about the vertical (vertical being the straight ahead position). The harder the application of the brakes, the more apparent the symptom is! In my mind this could be related to: -Brake pads or -Brake rotors or -Front wheel bearings or Something else I am totally unaware of! I'd would rather that someone who's been there would point me in the right direction before I start changing all of the above hoping to cure this problem. The Suburban in question is a 4WD 1999 3/4 ton, with 155,000 miles. Omar.
