Nice example of the S210 wagon, and the desired one since it’s a facelift model. It’s got another 200k left in it if well cared for. The price is a little optimistic, but with the current market being what it is I would say offer $3k and see what comes back if you check it out and are happy with it.
Yes, it has SLS as all Mercedes wagons do, but that would be the least of my worries with this car. The SLS systems are well proven and for the most part pretty bulletproof. For that matter, most are abused in that people rarely change the fluid or screen/filter in them and they still hang in there. This is a “gas and go” car. Maintenance is stupid easy and minimal and it’s easy to work on. One of the last cars that can be well DIY’ed as far as repairs, in my opinion. I’ve got a sedan and a wagon in the fleet, and both perform admirably with little to no maintenance other than regularly scheduled stuff. Only thing I would do to this car would be wash/wax it and get an original Becker back in the dash so the steering wheel controls function properly. -D > On Mar 27, 2020, at 1:52 PM, Bob Rentfro via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> > wrote: > > Do these have odd rear suspension?
