I have a new ceiling fan in the box for the last 5 years that was bought to install in a bedroom that has a regular light fixture at the moment. I bought some sort of fixture box with brace I believe. I assume I have to remove the existing box and put this one in? Can all this be done from below or does it have to be done from the attic? This section of attic is very hard to access. I am thinking whatever box I bought could be done from below but not sure. I need to locate it.
