When I was working the Mannheim (PA) auction for a buddy who is a high line dealer I was actively searching for a nice 300E. At the time the combination of a maroon interior and silver exterior was not attractive to the luxury car buying public and these were cars the dealers would avoid at auction or pay a much lower price for.
