About ten years ago I bought the cheapest dishwasher they had at lowers.  About
$200?  KitchenAid, all plastic.  Dirt simple.  Works great as long as you don't
over load it.  No issues once I worked through a bad pump and a dead control
board.  It was a factory repaired model that I bought for $100 with no
warranty, after buying the parts to fix it I was back at the original cost,
should have just bought the new one.
