Would have to figure out what "slipping" means.  In any case finding a new trans at a knacker and swapping it would be relatively cheap to DIY, but that might not be the problem. That's a 722.9, more complicated than a 722.6, don't know much about them.  Would have to drive it, maybe scan it to see if there are any codes being thrown.  Could be something simple.  I wonder if they ever changed the fluid and filter on the "sealed" transmission.
