On my 124 cars that don't have a drain valve on the radiator, I use the block drain, stick a rubber hose on that and direct into a bucket or whatever. That gets a lot of it out, and then I use a big wide low pan under the lower radiator hose, and put a low bucket in the pan to try to catch the most volume and then the pan catches the rest. Hard to do all this without spilling any, but I can keep it down to a very manageable mess, and keep the coolant clean enough to re-use if desired. ------------- Max Charleston SC
