So as you may recall the home service contract company sent sears over and the guy says the pump is bad and not avaialble so the dishwasher would have to be replaced.  The error code E25 (Might have been E24) indicated bad drain pump or blocked drain. I checked the line and it did not appear to be kinked and I do not see any blocked lines.  I ordered the drain pump for $30 and installed it today.  Took about 5-10 minutes, no big deal.  After powering it back on, it still does the same thing so I pulled the drain hose off the pump output, it is clear there.  I even blew into it and there is no blockage.  I pulled the pump again and checked to make sure the output housing where the pump goes then plugs into the hose was clear, it was.  When you power it on, pump runs in 3 short intervals then stops.  I can see in the clear drain line it is pushing water, a small amount of water but if the pump ran continually I am sure it would drain.  It now pops up with error E25 and in red says Watertap.  I assumed this means something about the water supply.  Checked to make sure water was on and it is.  Tomorrow I think I will pull the supply line to check to see if maybe there is a filter that is blocked.  Not sure what that would have to do with draining though.

In the mean time the status of the service request is washer may be eligible for replacement. I called them the other day but could not understand them.  Sounded like they were going to fix washer but waiting on parts, no estimated time of arrival.  Wife called today and the "appliance dept" is supposed to call us by the 28th.  Still not sure if they are replacing it or what.  Not sure if that means they are going to buy some cheap machine or send check for whatever they cover on it and we can go get one on our own.

I really hate to give up on it.  All the searching I see on this error say it is simple deal with making sure the impellers are clear (they are, pump is new), check for blockage (I have).  It seems like 4 years is a short time for a premium product.  Wonder if I should go with Bosch the next time or not.
