You would have to pull the codes with DAS to know what the issue is and to
reset the trans computer. Could very well be the conductor plate.

Hello again all!
1st, I hope everyone is well? Hopefully we haven't been hit hard by the Covid
(Whuhan) Virus? I suspect the membership of this forum is on the older side, like
me, and I pray everyone either doesn't get it or recovers quickly & completely.
I thought I asked this question before but I searched and did not find it. Anyway,
re: the 06 E350AWD (AKA, The Paperweight) - I solved one transmission problem by fitting
a correct battery in it. Took it for a test drive and find it does not upshift from the
starting gear. I am wondering if a Fluid and filter would make any difference. I am
wondering if the Conductor plate could be at fault. Maybe I should change it "while
I'm in there" (a catch-22 that I dislike)? There are trans fluid /Filter/Conductor
plate its for less than $100 on the internet so I am thinking it's a good idea. What's
the consensus of those who know much more about auto trans than I do?
Thanks,
Larry
