It was advertised at $3200. I looked at it on Friday. It remained listed on CL through yesterday. I wasn’t terribly excited about it, so I sort of sandbagged on doing anything.
I decided to offer the guy $2600. I texted him an offer. He asked if he could wait until tomorrow because he had someone coming to see the car. I told him no, as I didn’t want to become a point of negotiation. He went quiet for about 30 minutes then texted me back that he would take my offer. Best negotiating tool you can have - be willing to walk away... And yes, it’s smoke silver. Never understood why they didn’t just call it gold.
