The better (less bad?) ones used Pinto (or maybe PintoStang) donors.
The awful ones (who did that, Fiberfab?) used Beetle donors and didn't look right from 100' away. Fiberfab did have a GT that looked a lot better than a Bradley, but I don't think it had Bradley's build quality.

The only popular 1970s kit car I want is a Meyers Manx.
