That's an idea but there is grease and oil in there, I cleaned it up
with degreaser but I don't think that would get down in there to clean
it up, and it would probably not stick together with that in between the
2 pieces

the curved plastic housing bit to hold it and make it stronger and
somehow filling inside where the screw goes, or just getting a longer
screw and washer to fit over the top to hold the strengthened bit of
the plastic tight.
Any thoughts?
