From what I understand, running x86 stuff on Apple APUs is horrible, but maybe not quite as horrible as doing it on SnapDragon. I just bought a $207 laptop with Win10 Home (not S) and 8GB RAM on an Athlon 3150, so I'm not too interested in $800 versions with cell phone processors, even if the phone based stuff has more computations per Watt.
