Appears this buy bought the car off the original owner in 2015 and it
has been in tulsa the whole time. The rust must be due to body seals
leaking rather than salt issues.

case he didn’t I did not want to stir up something. Anyway on to the car. Looks
decent but does have some rust (see photos). We threw a battery in it and it
started right up. Clutch pedal feels normal but it won’t go into gear at all.
With engine off it seemed to go into gear. Got it loaded up on the trailer and
brought it home. Fired it up and I will be damned if it doesn’t go into gear
now just fine. Pulled it off the trailer and took it out. Shifts fine thru the
gears. Noticed temp started creeping up so got it home. Radiator appears to be
low. I also noticed a fairly good leak out of the heater valve so I guess that
needs to be replaced. Has a good oil leak out of the valve cover gasket.
Will probably go thru and do a full service on it, clean it up and get it
flipped fairly soon. Upon further inspection it appears the rust is worse than
I thought. I noticed all along the passenger side at what I assume is the seam
along the floor panels is rusting with the undercoating peeling back. Figure I
can still flip it for $2k or so.
