Yeah, the intake flap (“swirl flaps”) are another issue these engines are 
affected by, and the fix is pretty significant. As long as they don’t fail in 
the “bad” position (closed? I can’t recall) you can more or less ignore it, but 
it’s likely to throw a CEL that you can’t clear.
