Wife got her shot today, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. J&J vaccine which does not need a booster. The National Guard was running the operation and it was like clockwork. You drive in, are directed into one of half a dozen lanes marked out by orange traffic cones, check in, and then drive some more and end up a pit garage where you get the injection without even getting out of your car. They probably had a dozen of the garages set up like this. Then a drive down the pit lane on the track to a waiting area where you have to sit for 15 minutes in case you have a reaction. Then out the gate and done.
Very well organized and executed process. Glad to see we are still capable of something like that, when necessary.
