I don’t know what a “genny” is, but if you’re referring to the trailer mounted generator in the link, no, it’s not a good deal. The one positive thing about it is that it’s a Lister diesel, which means it’s the 240D of diesel industrial engines, but it’s also expensive as heck to repair if something breaks. As a 2 cylinder, it’s likely no more than about 8kW, meaning it won’t run your heat pump. It probably has no auto start capability, either.
