I installed a set of Axxis ceramic pads on my Passat about 6 months ago.
Very little dust and it doesn't stick to the wheels. They are also fairly
quiet and don't fade under heavy use. Cost a little more, but are worth it.

On Motorweek this morning (SpeedTV) the subject of brake dust on
wheels
came up. They said one way to avoid getting brake dust on wheels is to
install Ceramic Brake Pads. Seems the Ceramic Pads give off a white-ish
dust that's not very noticeable. I;ve heard of the Porsche Ceramic Brake
System that Porsche offers for a handsome $ value, but never ceramic pads
that can be installed in normal calipers. Have you?

Any experience with them? TIA -
