I would inquire on banned (Chip).

Later MGB cars were pretty heavily laden with smog/epa crap. That and the five
mph government mandated picnic bench they put out front make it an ugly car. I
don't remember if the later cars still had Lucas electrics (Prince of
Darkness), but if it does, and you'd rather watch tv than tinker, I would avoid
it. Or flip it INSTANTLY. You don't want to sit on this car. Stuff will break
looking at it.

Buy and flip immediately.
Do NOT procrastinate the sale.
You WILL regret it.

Who knows a thing or two about the costs of procrastination.

Subject: [MBZ] MGB?

My buddy who bought an RV and is hitting the road has the 77 MGB he has had for
a while. Car looks clean and he says it runs, he just rebuilt the carbs but
have not synchronized them yet. Otherwise seats are very nice, top appears to
be fairly new, does not have any rust. He says they are worth about $4k and he
offered it to me for $1k. I know absolutely nothing about these. Is it worth
picking up to flip, or play with for a while then flip?
