i sent this guy an email saying he should put on an new crank position sensor, maybe $100 to do that.  he says his mech doesn't know anything about the car and his scanner wouldn't connect to the engine or something.  I sent him a youtuber vid of a guy doing it in about 10min and told him if he did that he could get another $1k on it.  So he was going to look into that.  The car looks pretty nice, this is the kind of car you need to find if you want one.  Or like I said my 99E320. https://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/d/live-oak-2001-blk-mercedes-e320/7367072347.html

I found an average snowfall map of the US a while back. I'll see if I can find 
it and post it. For me (and probably you) the nearest rust free cars are in 
Tennessee.
