The future SIL has his ‘97 2wd 4Runner who’s driveshaft is shot (I drove it the other day and the vibration was scary so I suggested he take it to a reputable shop and dude there said it is shot). So…he is writing up an estimate for a rebuild. I have priced out new: OEM from Toyota, $548 all the way to a place called WholesaleImportParts, $324, and Flaps, $495. Rebuild or new??
