I do believe P3s are still in active duty. They were 10-15 years ago, I know. I used to see them all the time in AK and the Aleutians, as they were used for sub tracking in the north Pacific.

The P3 Orion is based on the Lockheed L-188 Electra, I think they are still on duty?
